ok so about ethics........I set out to get a page out like ethics for dummies ...but I don't think I will be able to justice to the topic but let me give it a try
What is ethics?
Ethics is about moral choices.It was in school that I first heard about a person being in between the horns of a dilemma at the time it didn't strike me but later when I came into contact with other people and began to question my beliefs only then did I wonder about the implications and began to read about it. In learning about ethics you will then be challenged to examine what it is that you want in life and what you believe to be worth doing.
Let me give you an example..... if a friend askes you which colour shirt he should wear; red or blue?This doesn't seem like a big problem.BUT if the person asking is about to take a walk that will lead across a field in which you know there is an unfriendly bull which will charge at him if he wears red(Oh never mind that bulls are colour blind!) But of course if you say red can you be guilty or can you argue that its the bull's fault.O.K. what if the bull could speek an says its in its nature to charge at red so it is doing only what comes naturally to it so then who is to blame?(In that case can you escape saying its in your nature to create mischief so if your friend asked you then its his fault for asking?)O.K. then what if you don't say anything knowing that if your friend goes wearing red he could be injured in such a case are you responsible?
So you see its pretty complex.....anything you do can be considered as White/Black/or grey also somethig good can be illegal and something bad can be legal.A crucial moral question for you may have no implication for the guy nextdoor.
